Current Issue

Vol. 4 No. 2 (2021): Pakistan Journal of Educational Research

There are two major types of research, one called qualitative research and the other one is quantitative research. But on the other hand in the research process, if only the quantity is adopted instead of quality, then the result is nothing.

The Pakistan Journal of Educational Research – PJER, seeks to provide standard papers in the journal but it seems that HEC's efforts to create a research culture in Pakistan have now taken a different direction. This situation needs the attention of HEC officials.

Similarly, in the case of the registration/accreditation of the journals, the HEC needs to review its policies and also take into account the key stakeholders (editors of research journals) in this process. I hope that if the leadership of those who are responsible for our educational process pay attention to these issues, inshaAllah we will be able to further improve the quality of higher education in Pakistan.
